East Kilbride Golf Clubs new PGA Professional is Graeme Bell and with him he brings a wealth of experience from the Professional game.

Graeme hails from the south side of Glasgow and began his golfing career at Cathcart Castle Golf Club where he made history by becoming, at only 16 years old, the only player to win both Junior and Senior Club Championships in the same year.

After graduating from the University of Stirling with his B.Sc. in Mathematics, Graeme began his PGA training and, in his first year, he was awarded the Scottish Assistant of the Year title. In his final year of training, Graeme was awarded 6th place in the UK when he graduated with distinction to be a PGA Professional.

In 2006 Graeme was selected to help open Dubai's premier golfing facility "Al Badia Golf Resort" where he set up Dubai’s most successful Independent Junior Golf Program. He was also a master club fitter with Taylormade and is one of very few professionals ever to work in the Million Dollar 3D Motion TaylorMade Performance Lab.

Graeme's dedication and commitment to learning paid off when, in 2007, he was short listed for the prestigious title of Middle East Coach of the year. He also built up the reputation of being one of the best Custom Fitting Experts in Scotland and fits to all leading brands of clubs. "During my career, I have been lucky enough to have worked with many of the worlds most recognised coaches: Pete Cowan, Robert Baker, Luther Blacklock and Claude Harmon to name a few.”

In 2011, Graeme opened Linlithgow's Indoor Golf Performance Lab where he utilised state of the art Radar Ball Tracking Equipment and High Speed Video Analysis to develop all levels of golfers. Graeme has also been a regular contributor of coaching articles to National Club Golfer Magazine. His passion for golf technology has led to Graeme being an advisor to other PGA Professionals in the operation and interpretation of Radar Golf Ball Tracking Systems.
